Course Outline:
Continuing to develop and hone specific skills and knowledge as a supervisor is important to engage in ongoing professional excellence. Amovita’s suite of supervision models have been developed to support growth and development of supervisory skills and knowledge. This advanced supervision training has been designed to support supervisors and leaders with experience in providing supervision. It reaches beyond the typical training program to explore in-depth concepts around supervision, encouraging supervisors and leaders to revisit their supervisory practice approach, style and structure with the view to increase capability.
This advanced training presentation is about enhancing participants existing skills, knowledge, and capabilities in providing professional supervision. Participants engage in interactive and in depth discussions to increase understanding and skills required at an advanced level. This training is highly developmental and participants are required to critique their supervisory practice and the practice of others in the training through an evidence informed evaluation tool.
Participants will undertake supervision meetings and evaluate various aspects of theirs and other participant’s supervisory practice. Participants will also explore what their current process, structures and frameworks are that are used in supervision and how PASE® is being implemented in the workplace.
Pre-requisites:
Prior to attending this training, it is a pre-requisite that participants will have attended a previous ESP-Excellence in Supervisory Practice 2 day training. It Is further recommended that if participants have attended a 2 day training longer than two years previously, that they register to attend an Amovita supervision 2 day training as content and resources may have changed.

• Understand how to hone your technical skills, supervisory knowledge and competencies to provide effective supervision and coaching
• Supervisors evaluate their supervisor capability using evidence based tools
Delivery Method, Dates and Times:
Online, via Zoom. The training is facilitated over 3 x 3.5 hour sessions on the 14th, 15th & 16th March 2023, 4:30pm – 8pm QLD time each day.
